COVID SAFE PRIVACY DISCLAIMER 

In order to allow everyone to enjoy the event in a secure manner, EBC has decided to use the COVID Safe Ticket, via the CovidSafeBE application. The purpose of the processing of personal data arising from it, is to facilitate the exercise of the right of free movement within the Union during the COVID-19 pandemic.

By scanning the QR code with the CovidScanBE application during the access control of an event, no health data is shared with the organizer or the security company. As the Data Controller, we only see your first and last name, how long your certificate is valid and whether your certificate meets the entry requirements (e.g. whether it is still valid). With regard to your identity cardwe only consult your first and last name to ensure that you are the holder of the certificate presented 

The legal basis for the processing is compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject (Cooperation Agreement of 14 July 2021).  

The person responsible for processing your data is the AiSBL European Brain Council (BCE 0864.644.340). 

The data will be kept for the duration of the event.  

EBC, its collaborators and subcontracting partners make every effort to protect your personal data which will be shared, only with:  

1° the persons in charge of controlling access to the mass event ;  

2° persons responsible for controlling access to the pilot project;  

3° the personnel of a guarding company or an internal guarding service referred to in the law of October 2, 2017 regulating private and particular security.  

Your data is also stored securely.
